Do I Have to Install a Native Instruments Library Again Thorugh Native Access?

  1. Hullo,
I 've bought a third party software (virtual bouzouki, not NI instrument) which plays with kontakt thespian. I have complete the installation, registration and activation on Native Access successfuly.
How can I install the software on a second machine, eg on my laptop?
    Is it possible?
How can I actuate the software on the second machine, since I have already use the serial number provided when bought the software?
Should I buy the production once more? or can I purchase just a serial number? but from where?
    Give thanks yous
  2. Can't really answer that because it fully depends on what license terms the programmer has set up. If they allow y'all to employ this on multiple computers then it'south simple: install Native Admission, register the instruments again and you're proficient to go.

I don't think it's going to be a problem though, I take a few third political party instruments which are quite articulate: you're immune to install on multiple computers under the strict term that y'all'll be the only one using them. So.. I don't think this volition be much dissimilar (though I patently can't be sure).

  3. Thanks
In case the product I bought comes with two licenses, when I volition install native admission on the second motorcar I will have to create a new Native Access account? Right?
  4. No, y'all demand to utilize the same account equally you lot use now. Meet, your registrations and everything gets associated with your account, so if you lot'd use a new account and then you'd end up with naught to install because it wouldn't have whatsoever registered products.

For an case of this look here:
    https://world wide web.native-instruments.com/en/my-account/my-products-serials-downloads/

So e'er use the same NI account.

  5. I was thinking of creating a new Native Access business relationship to the 2nd machine and add together the serial again of my product as I did with the 1st installation on the 1st machine. Since I have two licenses the serial number volition exist accepted (or not?) by the second account although it has been registered with the first account
    Is this wrong?

After installing the product from the DVD to the 2nd car I volition be asked to annals with native admission and specify the path of the libraries to the 2d machine. If I apply the same account with the 1st installation, information technology will be impossible to do all these since the product is already registered with the 1st machine. How tin I permit native access know that I utilize a second machine?? My account and the products listed in information technology are connected to the 1st machine... And so how tin the aforementioned account be used for the 2nd machine every bit well?

  6. I wouldn't take the risk and merely go on using the same account. Your arroyo can work from what I tin can tell, especially if you kept the licenses separated, just at the same time information technology can besides create a bit of confusion. And I can clinch you that NI is quite capable of treatment multiple licenses.

For example... I've had a license for Absynth long before I bought into Komplete and when I eventually did I basically had 2 licenses. I from Absynth beingness included in Komplete and the license I already had. And so I ended up installing Absynth on my laptop all using the same NI business relationship and never ran into issues.

Now, sure, this involves NI products and non third party instruments, only even so... Personally I'd stick to the same account to avert whatsoever confusion. But once again: your approach should also work.

  7. Do not be affraid, Native Access will know it is different calculator. Just, install NA, utilise the same NI account as on 1st computer, input registration number for plugin into NA.... And it should work.

If you create 2d NI account and try to input registration number into NA, information technology will say, that it has beeb already used and cannot be registered to some other account....

  8. I am trying to understand how using the same Native Access account on the 2nd machine will work...

After installing the production from the DVD I purchased, to the 2nd machine, I log in my Native Admission account from the 2d machine, using the aforementioned account I already have and created from the 1st installation on the 1st auto. Then far then good.
In that location, there is the selection "Add Serial". This I call back will non work, since this stride has already been washed during the 1st installation on my 1st machine.
Other options are, to relocate the path of the libraries, only this also has been don during the 1st installation on the 1st car....

And then it seems at that place is naught to do after loging in my Native Admission account from the 2nd machine. I can see the product listed on installed products, but I dont see anything else I can do. I am missing something?
In the previous post above Kubrak says "...input registration number for plugin into NA....". You mean the "Add Series" option ? But this has already been done during the 1st installation on the 1st machine.

I have logged in my NA account (the one created during the 1st installation on the 1st automobile) from the 2nd machine. What I am doing next? Where do I click on?

  9. If you come across those plugins in NA on 2nd calculator. Are they shown as installed? And if are shown as installed is it shown as full version?

If they are not shown as installed, printing install on the plugin tile.

If they are shown as installed, NA probably authenticiated plugins at its beginning. So, they should work.

    ----
I meant "Add Serial". In by i had exercise it over again on 2d estimator, I think, simply NI has changed it....

  10. The NA account is single.
Is information technology possible to see dissimilar things when logging in NA from the 1st auto, and unlike settings when logging to the aforementioned business relationship from the 2d auto? I dont think so.
For example, in that location is a field "location path" which shows the path the libraries are found localy on my car.
What about this field? Will I run into different setting when logging from the 1st machine, and different settings when logging from the 2nd machine? I dont think and so, the NA account I am logging in , is the same in both cases..

    I am confused...

  11. If y'all encounter the same things in NA on both computers, you lot may use the plugin/library on 2d calculator. If yous may it utilize on 1st figurer.

It is possible to see different things in NA connected to the aforementioned NI account, on dissimilar computers. Imagine you have for example 3 plugins. You install all three on one computer and only i on the other. NA volition show three plugins installed on 1st and one on 2d.

  12. That's interesting!
And so you hateful the very outset time I install native admission on the 2d machine, after logging in my account (the same I created when installing on the 1st machine) from the 2nd machine, I volition see no products installed? Am I right?

So what I have to do , is actually to follow the same procedure I followed during the1st installation on the 1st machine ie to click on "Add serial" button and enter the series once again, specify the library path etc?

Is this how information technology works?

  13. Ok, things are getting clear.
I fix NA on the 2nd machine and logged in under the same business relationship I have
In the Not Installed Products list I can see the production I registered under this account although I did it on the 1st automobile!!
In Installed Products I see nothing!! since I haven't installed anything yet on the 2nd machine
All I have to do is to click on the button Add together Library next to the product listed in Not Installed Products and specify the path to the 2nd machine where the library is located.

And then , when logging in the same NA business relationship by a machine, in the Not Installed Products you see the products you take registered under this business relationship (no matter which machine you used to do this), but have not installed to the motorcar you are sitting nevertheless.
In the Installed Products you lot meet your products installed on the machine y'all are sitting on!

I hope this is the way it works
